Well, it seems that Spring has arrived. Finally! Hope I don’t curse it. But we had a very lovely, warm day yesterday with plenty of sunshine. I’ve been able to plant my first flowers of the year- thanks to Michael who brought some (or A LOT) of clearance blooms home.
Even my anniversary orchid has some little buds on it. I was nearly positive it was dead but nope, it’s been growing like a weed lately!
I got to drink my coffee on the porch and soak up some sun with James- which may be my favorite part of spring.
Oh who am I kidding? My favorite part of Spring is: BASEBALL. Duh. Yes, it has finally arrived just in time for Opening Day.
The sun really makes me want to just sit around and crochet all day. I have had a sudden burst of inspiration lately, and I am trying to get my crocheting caught up with my brain. Right now, I am working on a ripple star baby blanket:
It’s coming along great and should be done today! Then I think I am going to start on a circle-granny square style baby blanket. I’ve never tried a granny square style blanket before where you actually have to stitch together the squares, so I’m a little nervous. But I’m sure there are enough tutorials to help me.
I should crochet… if only I could get off the internet!
